What do Friends of the Museum do?

• They are the first to receive newsletters and updates concerning the International Museum of Woodworking, plus they may do one or several of the following tasks:

• They find internet sites of new potential candidates for insertion into the museum, plus if necessary call the candidates to approve their photos and possibly upgrade the HD quality

• They send us CDs with photos from travels that they themselves took of various woodworking seminars, exhibitions, real museums found in any country, so the photos may become candidates for an exhibition

• They search for grants or monetary contributions to further the goals of the museum

• They send us ideas and suggestions on how to expand and increase the attractiveness of the museum

• They send us technical ideas on how to increase the usability of the site, plus ways to increase the SEO for new visitors to find the museum

• They make suggestions for products to be sold in the museum store

• They can become an exhibition organizer when trained

• They may volunteer to answer the volume of emails we receive

• They spread the word to friends, woodworking blogs and groups who may have an interest to visit the museum
